Best Beachfront Hotels in Boracay on White Beach

White Beach is the largest and most popular beach on Boracay Island, and as the prime activity hub, it’s also the place where most people want to stay. Hotels here range from luxury to backpacker budget, so there’s a beach hotel for everyone if you know where to look.

The Lind Boracay – Our Favorite Station 1 Luxury Resort in Boracay White Beach

Located on Station 1 of White Beach, the Lind is one of the newest resorts on Boracay Island and also one of our favorites.

Why We Love It: We especially love the infinity pool and outdoor cabanas.

If You Have Kids: The Lind even has a Kids Club that specializes in providing educational and fun entertainment for your little ones. Origami classes, Storytelling, and Painting are just few of the daily activities offered.

Willy’s Beach Hotel – Our Favorite Bang-for-the-Buck Station 1 Beachfront Hotel in Boracay White Beach

Willy’s Beach Hotel is one of the most famous and most popular hotels on the entire Boracay Island. It’s located directly across from the iconic Willy’s Rock, and its price remains economical despite its prime location on the side of White Beach (Station 1) that’s known mostly for all its luxury resorts. This 3-star hotel also houses a restaurant, bar, and nightclub. Rooms include a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, and free Wi-Fi.

Why We Love It: You get complimentary welcome drinks and flower leis upon arrival. Breakfast is free as well. And we love that Willy’s Rock is basically your front yard. You can snap all the Instagram shots you want without ever having to leave your hotel.

Be Aware: Nights here are nice and quiet, but daytime can get rather busy. Because this hotel shares space with one of the most iconic landmarks on Boracay Island (yes, I’m talking about Willy’s Rock again), that also means that guests of other resorts will be walking over to your beachfront during the day to have their own chance to see this local treasure up close. If all the extra traffic is something that may bother you, definitely don’t pick this hotel. Try one of other great options listed below (hint hint – Station 3 hotels house the quietest beachfront on White Beach).

The District Boracay – Our Favorite Station 2 Beachfront Hotel in Boracay White Beach (Luxury)

The District Boracay’s prime location in Station 2 beachfront places the resort right at the center of all the action on the island. It’s close to restaurants, bars, shopping, and activities. Plus, it has its own restaurant, bar, spa, and gym on-site.

Why We Love It: We especially love The District’s classy rooftop bar and lounge.

Astoria Current – Our Favorite Boutique Beachfront Hotel in Station 3 of Boracay White Beach

If you’re looking for a place to stay in White Beach’s quieter Station 3, you absolutely cannot find a better beachfront hotel than Astoria Current. This luxury boutique hotel features colorful avant-garde décor and the prettiest rooms I’ve ever seen on Boracay Island. The pool contains see-through walls and semi-submerged lounge chairs, so you can relax while laying in the water. And fire dancers perform on the beach each night.

Why We Love It: The guest rooms are so stylish, artsy, and colorful. I never really pay much attention to the style or appearance of rooms I stay in beyond expecting cleanliness and comfort, but the interior design of the Astoria Current is just so spectacular that you can’t help being charmed and impressed by absolutely everything. I wish that I had a picture to show you just how gorgeous these rooms are, but you can head over to the hotel’s website to see for yourself what I mean.

Runners-Up: Here’s a Couple More Beachfront Hotels on White Beach that We Love in Boracay Island

Best Beachfront Hotels in Boracay on Diniwid Beach

Diniwid Beach is a good choice for anyone who’s looking for a location a little more relaxed and quieter than White Beach but doesn’t want to stray too far from its prime activity hub. A smaller beach, you can think of Diniwid as White Beach’s laid back and easy-going little sibling.

Boracay West Cove Resort

Boracay West Cove is one of the most popular resorts on Diniwid Beach. Built into the cliffside over the water, it’s considered a luxury hotel but costs only half the amount of most luxury resorts on the neighboring White Beach.

Why We Love It: Every room has its own ocean-view veranda. And the resort itself has lots of cliffside decks from which the views are absolutely amazing. There’s also a small sandy beach area for lounging or swimming access.

Spider House

I wish we had a picture of this hotel, so we could show you just how eclectic, fun, and unique this place is. A popular favorite among young college kids, this charming 2-star budget hotel features rooms and structures made out of bamboo. Diving into the sea from the tall decks is a popular adrenaline activity.

Why We Love It: Although it’s just a 2-star hotel, Spider House is a beloved favorite by tourists and often sells out completely, so book in advance. We love the vibe of this place and just how full of charm it is.

Best Beachfront Boracay Hotels on Private Hidden Beaches

Most tourists flock to White Beach and have no idea that these secret beaches even exist. We’re sharing our favorite two here, but there’s a handful more on Boracay Island that didn’t make this list. You can check out our Boracay Beaches guide for more hidden beach wanderlust love.

Fairways and Bluewater Resort

Fairways and Bluewater Resort has its own secret beach — Lapuz Lapuz Beach — that lies completely hidden from the rest of Boracay Island by natural rock outcroppings that enclose the sandy shore within a horeshoe-shaped private space.

Why We Love It: The hidden beach is reason enough to love this hotel, but Fairways continues to impress us with its 7 gorgeous pools (including an infinity pool) and on-site activities. The resort offers ziplining, and you can even go horseback riding right along the beach. They also have an 18-hole championship golf course– the only one on the entire island.

Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa

The 5-star Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa remains one of the most-loved resorts on Boracay Island. This place of luxury straddles not one but two hidden beaches, each formed by large rocks that jut out into sea and obscure it from the perception of its neighbors. If your idea of the perfect beachfront hotel involves a private retreat with exclusive access only to resort guests, then this should be your number one choice.

Why We Love It: We love the hidden beaches and all the different swimming pools, including our favorite infinity pools.
