I buy a lot of coloring books, and recently I’ve been splurging on ones to fulfill my fantasies of frolicking around the world. Here’s some of my favorites so far. Men, you may like these, too. “Women with Wanderlust” just has a nice ring to it, and I’m a sucker for alliteration, so don’t let my exclusive title put you off. If you love to travel and color, there just might be some travel coloring books on this list for you. Dragon approved.
P.S. I purchased these books using my own money. Nothing was given to me for free. But there are affiliate links in this article, so if you choose to buy one of these books as well, I make a small commission at no extra charge to you. Just trying to keep things honest and real. Yay.
Our Favorite Travel Coloring Books:
Ultimate Travel Coloring Book (Lonely Planet)
Prime eligible? Yes
Why We Like It: I’ve always been a big fan of Lonely Planet, so I tend to purchase a lot of their books. This, however, was my first time trying out one of their coloring books. I love that it includes many of my travel favorites not often included in other coloring books — the Dubrovnik Old City Walls, Isle of Skye, Pompeii, and Petra, for example. It’s also got a good number of pages — 100 in total — so you won’t run out of coloring inspiration for quite some time.

Coloring Europe: Bella Italia: A Coloring Book Tour of the World Capital of Romance
Prime Eligible? Yes
Why We Like It: The pictures are pretty. The lines are elegant and swirly. And the pages are one-sided, so you don’t have to worry about bleeding through to a picture on the back. Plus, we really love how the entire book focuses on just Italy. And if Italy is not your first travel love, the good news is that this coloring book exists as just one of an entire series of destinations. They also have Coloring Europe: Charming London, Coloring Europe: Vive la France, and a few other countries you might prefer instead. You can view the entire series on Amazon here: Coloring Europe Adult Coloring Book Series – Pick a Country.

Creative Haven Circular Cities Coloring Book (Adult Coloring)
Prime Eligible? Yes
Why We Like It: This is probably the most creative coloring book I’ve ever owned, and it’s so aesthetically pleasing. The circular, global design of each image is just so much fun. Every cityscape fits perfectly within its own circular frame as if you’re looking at it through a fish-eye lens. It’s unique and pretty, and there are 31 pictures to color, all one-sided.

Cats in Venice: Coloring book for adults
Why We Like It: This book is exactly what it sounds like – a coloring book full of cats. So many cats. Posed and playing in various places throughout the streets of Venice. And it is awesome. The scenes include canals, gondolas, balconies, and even Venetian Carnival masks. If you’re a fan of both Venice and cats, then this is the coloring book for you.

Island Paradise: An Adult Coloring Book with Tropical Vacation Scenes, Relaxing Beach Themes, and Soothing Nature Patterns
Why We Like It: Instead of cityscapes, this one contains fun beach scenes. The pages were easy to color, and while this wasn’t our favorite of all the books on this list, we still really enjoyed it.

The Official Outlander Coloring Book: An Adult Coloring Book
Why We Like It: I started watching Outlander specifically because it’s set in one of my favorite places in the world — the Scottish highlands. But even if you have never once watched the show, you can enjoy this coloring book simply for the beautiful places and scenes depicted inside. My favorites include the Scottish gardens and other illustrations of eighteenth century Scottish landscapes straight out of the book and tv show. There are nearly a hundred pages in all. Half of those are images to color, and the other half includes quotes and excerpts from the Outlander novel that correspond to the coloring pages.

The Travel Coloring Book: Inspiring Change Through Meditative Coloring (Meditative & Mindful Coloring)
Bonus: We love that this is a cheap, HARDCOVER coloring book. It’s so rare to find hardcover coloring books, let alone a hardcover travel-themed coloring book for adults.
Prime eligible? Yes
Why We Like It: It’s super affordable and utterly adorable. Aside from being the cheapest adult coloring book on this list, it’s also the one with the cutest cover. The inside’s full of coloring pages that almost double as a travel journal, leaving room for places to write-in your favorite destinations and other fun travel lists. The backgrounds also often spell out words such as “wanderlust” and “bon voyage.” This book is smaller than many of the others on this list (only 24 pages total), but we still had lots of fun with it (and since it’s hardcover, it looks great standing upright on display in my bookshelf with other favorite travel items).
